The Snow Sprites: Follow the Bunny

We have a new song available to listen to:

http://soundcloud.com/snowsprites/follow-the-bunny

---- Follow the Bunny ----

Stretching the span of time
Watching everything
The space is undefined
Course still uncharted

Walk with me
To where the river meets the sea
If you let me take you there
No need to have a care

Searching the planets nine
Watching everything
Until we have arrived
Back where we started

Fly with me
Across this swirling galaxy
No one else can take you there
I'm sure you are aware

Wandering through the pines
Watching everything
The mission is to find
Somewhere uncharted

Come with me
To any place that you can dream
We could travel anywhere
Please let me take you there

The Snow Sprites: SoundCloud

Just a quick update to inform you that we now have a SoundCloud account. You can stream our songs from there at a higher quality than from our MySpace page, and it has a much better interface! We will be using it for all future music uploads.

The Snow Sprites: We Are It

We just posted three new songs from our upcoming album:

We Are It
Fly With Me to the Faerie Nebula
Through the Mist of Murky Mire

Here are the lyrics to the first one. The other two are instrumentals.

---- We Are It ----

People say it's them
They try to shut us out
Hold me now
We are it
Lonely are the ones
Buried in their doubt
Hold me now
We are it

Oh, we are the ones left standing
When all else crumbles
All the others fumble in the web
They have built inside their
Bubblegum fantasies
Candy dreamers
The suckers of life's
Simple pleasures

People say it's them
They try to shut us out
Hold me now
We are it
Lonely are the ones
Buried in their doubt
Hold me now
We are it

Why are they all so demanding?
When nothing rumbles
All they do is tumble in their beds
They have given in to
Humdrum insanity
Unbelievers
Their garbage is our
Secret treasure

People say it's them
They try to shut us out
Hold me now
We are it
Lonely are the ones
Buried in their doubt
Hold me now
We are it

Now our mothership is landing
The doubters humbled
All our voices mumble in their heads
We have come to Earth to
Study humanity
Self deceivers
The damage of which
You can't measure

People say it's them
They try to shut us out
Hold me now
We are it
Lonely are the ones
Buried in their doubt
Hold me now
We are it

Magic spells
Wishing wells
Hold me now
We are it
Garbage cans
Take my hands
Hold me now
We are it

The Snow Sprites: Farewell, August!

As the month of August comes to an end, The Snow Sprites first album is coming along quite nicely! It will be titled Plant a Seed in the Cosmos, and contain approximately 15 songs. We are working on most of the songs simultaneously, but we should have 3 or 4 of them finished and available to listen to by the end of next week. Stay tuned!

The Snow Sprites Delight!

This month, TalkboxTrash and I have begun recording our first album together as The Snow Sprites. We haven't settled on a title yet, but we will announce it when the album is closer to being finished. It will feature songs about things like snow, trees, galaxies, garbage cans, magic, walkie-talkies, ghosts, robots, bunnies, gnomes, and sprites. If any of those things interest you, or if you enjoy music featuring flute, recorder, didgeridoo, vocals, Theremin, electric bass, organ, piano, synthesizer, percussion, and electronics, then check us out! Follow this blog for updates, or "like" The Snow Sprites on Facebook.

It Was a Dream! We Live Inside a Dream!

Last night I dreamed I was at work, back in the photo department, and it was Christmas time, so it was really busy. Pete Martell from Twin Peaks was a customer in the store, and I was helping a little old lady find something in our sales ad, when Null from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures (who is actually a demon) came in to the store, wearing a business suit! He's never been depicted by a live actor, but in the dream I knew who it was. Anyways, Pete turned to me and said, "I've never seen anyone with eyes like his." And right on cue, some creepy music from Twin Peaks started playing (my dreams frequently have soundtracks in them), and that part of the dream ended. I only remember fragments from other sections of the dream, like being inside of a giant video game arcade, and crawling through a McDonald's style playground where all the pipes led somewhere different, like a place where naked people were lying down sleeping on a giant dinner plate! I'll update this if I remember anything else.

Welcome Back, My Friends, to the Show That Never Ends

Beware. Take care. Beware! Don't say I didn't warn you.
